SND resumes?

Now that the weekend hangovers have died down, it's time to think about the next SND which, I am hoping and assuming, will be this weekend? Where should we go? It'll be Brekke's inaugural dinner as a Brooklyn resident so maybe we should go someplace a) near her and b) iconic of the borough. Hmm. Any thoughts?

RIP Barfry

I just wanted to take time out during this busy wedding week to announce the closing of one of our SND locales - Barfry. Apparently we weren't the only ones who got gas.

Is this the first place where we have dined that has gone under? Should someone prepare some remarks for the next SND?

It was so fun having us all together again. Despite my well documented issues last night, I would highly recommend Kombit. They clearly get what SND is all about.

Random movie plug

I'm working on a story about this movie right now, which actually came out on Wednesday. I can't recommend it enough. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll want to go to Northampton and give them all hugs.

Springing into Action

So, now that the season has started, I wanted to post the Yankees schedule and see if any dates in particular were good/bad for people. The first date Jackie and I could realistically do a home Sunday game is May 25th against Seattle, an afternoon game. Then, Kansas City June 8th and Cincinnati June 22nd. Here is a link to the Schedule. Once we come up with a date (or a few dates), I can call the ticketing office and order 7 tickets.
