This pretty much sums up my feelings about the Oscars ceremony this year, but I'm duty-bound to watch it for work, so might as well have some fun. Who's here and up for watching? Player and I would be happy to host; Chris will probably be at pool league, but maybe he can drop in for a cameo.

Who is Miss Golden Globe 2012?

The answer to this and so many other questions...is Andie McDowell's daughter, Rainey Qualley, whose name is a real tongue twister. In fact, given the horrible state of Ms. McDowell's elocution (remember when Glenn Close had to dub in her voice over hers for that dumb Tarzan movie?), I picture her with a mouth full of marbles trying to say her daughter's name: Wainey Quaaarrley. Like The King's Speech, except it's Andy McDowell's Speech? But I digress...

Golden Globes at my house. We can cook or order in or potluck. Whatever floats your boat.

The Giants are playing at 4:30pm, so our GG watching may have to be delayed and on DVR. I hope that doesn't make anyone want to just fuck it and stay home, but I totally understand if it does. It's the playoffs, people.

Well kids - January has arrived and with it another year of SND. So who's in for Sunday and where should we dine? Should we invite our cigarette smoking friend to join us?

Oh and also - I'm unfortunately out for next Sunday's Golden Globes. But I would like to host a Super Bowl SND on Feb 5!
