The Dog Days of August

The blog has been a little lonely lately so just wanted to post for posterity. For Brekke's first post ankle injury SND we went to Flatbush Farm, with Margaret, but not Nathaniel who was regretfully in Philly. Oh yeah, and it was hot.

I'm not sure what I mean. Because my brain is melted. I have yellow fever. I called it jungle fever to my mother yesterday, and she gently corrected me. Who says it can't be both?

In any case: DINNER? I'm here. Who else?

Crazy Stupid SND

So i'll have finished day 2 of the Crazy Stupid Love junket and will be ready for some SND goodness. I hear rumors that Nathaniel and Sara are out. Claudia and Brekke - are you in?

Blogging for Posterity. On this, the 4th year of celebrating the 4th of July, those in town will be going on a day trip to Rockaway Beach and having a traditional tier one BBQ.

I assume that there will be dip.

4 YEARS!!!

Sunday is the 4 year anniversary of SND! So I'm hoping in honor of the occasion the 5 of us can gather to celebrate. Somewhere nice. an old fave? or somewhere we've never been?

Biercraft

For the record, Moose, Sara, Lara and I went to Biercraft last night. In keeping with this summer's theme, the food was tasty, but in their infinite wisdom they close at 8pm on Sunday. Apparently they have never heard of SND. the sandwiches - both savory and ice cream - were delicious.

The heat

Well by Sunday it will be nice and cool - and rainy - but right now all I can do is think about the heat. So where shall we go Sunday? Everyone is in but Sara, right?
