Memorial Day

So are we definitely planning a Monday night thing, then? I'm trying to decide whether to go to Rockport for the weekend, but am kind of leaning toward not- if I have a fun BBQ to look forward to it'll definitely push me more to the staying-here side.

Also: was shocked, SHOCKED to see that the Indiana Jones movie got a few good reviews today. One of which is in my own paper!!

The return of Jackie and Kyle?

Is that this Sunday? I certainly hope so. We should go somewhere special to celebrate.

Nathaniel and I (barely) kept SND alive yesterday by going to Franny's. It was delicious.

I'm going to need a few drinks this week to get over Speed Racer. Keep the condolences coming!

So, who's on for this Sunday? I think we might have a shot at everyone except J&K....
I'm not sure what the forecast is, but if it's like today, I vote for outdoorish!

SND resumes?

Now that the weekend hangovers have died down, it's time to think about the next SND which, I am hoping and assuming, will be this weekend? Where should we go? It'll be Brekke's inaugural dinner as a Brooklyn resident so maybe we should go someplace a) near her and b) iconic of the borough. Hmm. Any thoughts?

RIP Barfry

I just wanted to take time out during this busy wedding week to announce the closing of one of our SND locales - Barfry. Apparently we weren't the only ones who got gas.

Is this the first place where we have dined that has gone under? Should someone prepare some remarks for the next SND?

The Seven

It was so fun having us all together again. Despite my well documented issues last night, I would highly recommend Kombit. They clearly get what SND is all about.

So I believe it's just Sara, Claudia and me this Sunday. Girls - any thoughts?
