A very scary SND suggestion...

Normally not a fan of anything Hallowscreamy, but who wants to go to a scary movie at Lincoln Center on Sunday night? My friend Scott "Leatherpants" Leberecht is premiering his horror film Midnight Son on Sunday night at 7pm. I definitely want to go and show support, and even better if I bring friends, so just tossing this one out there. No pressure. Happy Halloween!

Behold the new, gigantic book I will be lugging around with me for maybe the next month... I think it might be the heaviest one yet. What's that, you say? I could just get a Kindle? Too easy. Anyway, I digress: who is in for dinner Sunday? Where will we go? Should we have some sort of compiled list of places we have in mind, perhaps?

Hi all. And Hello, Sun! Finally.
Who's here this weekend? This picture represents my desire- in general and specifically- to go apple picking. Apple Picking is fun and involves hot cider and donuts and fall foliage and driving through hills and sitting outside and actually not that much picking. Anyway, not necessarily this week but it is something to consider.

SAY Cheese!

I think it's likely we'll be nursing cheese and dessert hangovers on Sunday, but I hope we can still celebrate SND style. It's probably going to be raining. All it does it rain. Even more reason to eat. I know Sara's away....but the rest?

Come one, come all to Emmy night at my place, starting as early as you'd like. There will be food of some kind. Exactly what I cannot yet tell. Nachos? Probably. Guacamole? Definitely.
