Brekke and I are making two main dishes and a dessert. We'll definitely need booze and snacks. Weigh in on what you'd like to bring and, if it's in question, who you'd like to bring (Chris, etc..)

In other news - Castro resigned. So while he's not technically dead (yet) it does demonstrate the power of SND to make things happen...
That was SND's doing?? God, I miss ONE week...
Anyway, I'm excited for Sunday and I can bring whatever's needed. I hate to be terribly boring but I'm kind of thinking wine and cheese. Who doesn't love wine and cheese?

wine and cheese is always good. since we're having lots of italian cheese (parm/mozz) in the main dishes, maybe just steer clear of those. Or bring it on, frankly! Cheese Cheese Cheese!
Would someone be willing to bring or make a salad or crudite to cut through some of the awesome saturated fat?
Jackie and I will bring the salad. And our oscars A-game.
I hope your a-game includes black tie attire.

please note that i have so much cheese that it's kind of embarrassing. i just saw the lunar eclipse and it was amazing. i think pete should ditch his bo-ring publicist ilk and hang out with us. i have a heating pad and a list of great back strengthening exercises and diagrams. go us!
OK, I'm rethinking the cheese thing. Will still bring apps, but probably something other than cheese. Hummus? Salsa? May just wander around Whole Foods and see what strikes my fancy. Any requests?
I think that direction is perfect. Dips, apps, etc.
Also, everyone should be aware-- bring what you want to drink, as Brek is not supplying any booze per se. So if we each plan on a bottle of wine or beers or whatever...
