Let's try again....

Shall we convert the suggestions for this past Sunday into ones for this coming Sunday? Who's in town and available?

On a shamelessly unrelated note, this is a view from one (yes, one of two) of Nora and my hotel suite's balconies in Jamaica, mon...

I have never wanted to be someone else more than I want to be you right now, Claude.... Holy jeezoo.

Kyle and I will be in town next Sunday, and on his behalf, I am suggesting that we go to Two Toms. It's tres tres old school and better to go there now before the weather gets nice. (Will the weather ever get nice?)

Other advantages of Two Toms:
No menu.
You will likely be there while a huge table of local 26 pipefitters is next to you.
You get your own beers out of the fridge.
Cheap wine.
Central-ish location on 3rd and Union.

The only thing i want to throw into the mix is that it's Brek's bday SND-- which i realized after my initial post. Kyle's place sounds awesome, but I'd like to check with Brek and see what she wants to do, too.

xo

That sounds fantastic.

Claude - can't wait to hear about the insane vacation.

It is 5am and I am wide awake. This never happens to me. I had a really fun night taking this actor around yesterday and I am all revved up. Anyome else awake and reading the blog? Hello?

Someone is singing a mournful song - or hymn - outside on the street. It is now 540. Is this what goes on while I sleep? I wonder if it's a hobo. And how did I just spend 40 mins online and not realize it. Ok time to go back to sleep.

you just made me laugh so hard, peter...

Peter,

Are you okay?

Sara said...

Did you really just use the word "hobo"? Thought that went out about the same time as "mulatto" (that word I am, hilariously, officially sanctioned by Chris to use).

I'm all good! I did get back to sleep. I think the NY Times Magazine could advertise itself as a sleep aid.

Mustafa is a BIG fan of the word hobo and I am single handedly trying to bring it back.

Sara - how weird was it running into each other last night???

And back to my earliest post - damn those birds! why must they sing so loudly??? And it reminded me of the mosquitoes who are just lying in wait, ready to spend another summer torturing me.

Sara said...

So weird! Guys, I was out with Chris and another couple and who should we run into the ATM but Chris Mills and Nora, who were meeting Peter for dinner... so we all ended up getting drinks at Greak Lakes. AWK-ward! No, not really... though I'm not sure new Chris was entirely psyched about it, actually.

Peter said...

You mean he didn't love old Chris asking after your family??? He might as well have said do you still sleep on the left side of the bed?

Sara said...

Ha, and I was going to mention something to Nora about did Chris still cook hot dogs at home, and how gross is that... but perhaps better that I did not. You mean not all exes are as chummy as we are? Is that weird?

Peter said...

Not to jinx it but it sounds like we will have all 7 of us for the first6 time in months. And no guests. Right?

Kyle K. said...

All seven of us and Tom and Tom.

Is someone making a reservation at Two Toms?
