So, now that the season has started, I wanted to post the Yankees schedule and see if any dates in particular were good/bad for people. The first date Jackie and I could realistically do a home Sunday game is May 25th against Seattle, an afternoon game. Then, Kansas City June 8th and Cincinnati June 22nd. Here is a link to the Schedule. Once we come up with a date (or a few dates), I can call the ticketing office and order 7 tickets.

I'm just going to jump in with the contrarian comment and ask... why Yankees and not Mets or, extra preferably, Cyclones?
Kyle's never been to Yankee Stadium and they're getting ready to tear it down.
April 25th?that's a friday and the day before yuor wedding. And i assumed all dates would be sold out as it's their last year but go with god. any date works for me so far.
where are we eating this Sunday??? my cold seems to finally be receding.
do we have the use of cars? maybe we should go a little further afield... I'm going to vote for not Indian, since I had it last night and again right now, but maybe one of those Greek places in Queens? Or someplace in the Bronx? Then again... driving means not drinking. Hm. What about Tripoli? Could I think out loud more in one comment?
Also: I might count myself out for the Yankees game. Unless it's Coney Island, or I'm in the third row or closer, I invariably get bored at these things.
Bored?! That's why you drink!
I think Kyle meant May 25. I could have gotten two free tickets for June 8 but I would have had to open a Bank of America account -- maybe two.
Kyle and I have to go out of town for a wedding this weekend. That's why I would vote against "further afield."
After Tripoli, I had heartburn for three days. I'm just sayin.
wow. that got us nowhere! i'd totally be up for tripoli - heartburn doesn't scare me. though not sure if i'm up for a long walk again this sunday. yes. i'm lazy.. maybe if nathaniel is in and can drive that could work. nathaniel? NATHANIEL?!
i walked by the bar that we went to after alchemy this past sunday. fond memories of warm weather and drinking.
Sorry about the typos in my original post. I did indeed mean May 25th. Have we reached a consensus on Tripoli? Jackie, we'll get you something easy on the tummy.
Nathaniel is out this Sunday. Where is Tripoli again on Atlantic? Just trying to figure out the mileage for my feet. (Did i mention how tired/lazy/sick i am?)
I am totally down with Yanks, whenever we can get tix. I am up for Tripoli, however, I have no idea what Lebanese food is. I looked it up and it's on Clinton and Atlantic. Seems far for Pete. So we are nowhere.
I just looked up Clinton Avenue on my handy dandy Brooklyn map and GOOD GOD! ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL ME?!
Brek - Lebanese is a fancy name for mediteranean food. hummus, falafel and the like. I think.
this day will never end. It has been Friday for like 3 days.
May 25th works for me, going back to the Yankees. That's the Sunday before Mem day right? Moose is out of town...
I'm just going to continue to post until I get bored.
Potential conversation topics for Sunday:
The man having the baby (I'm obsessed!)
Heath's love child
Lee Pace (from Pushing Daisies) is gay. Sigh.
Friday Night Lights is coming back for a 3rd season of 13 episodes.
