BACK!....with a vengeance! (sort of)

Hi everyone,
I hear the weather is complete shit in NYC, but I have decided to return anyway :). I'm very excited for Sunday and hope people are around. Who's here? xoxoxoxoxxoxoxoxo

I'm here and was hoping I could host a SND BBQ but weather calls for rain Sunday night. Wah. So maybe we should go out instead. Suggestions to follow. xxoo

craptastic! i love coming home to zero chance of being able to deal with my hair :)

BUT. Actually now the forecast looks totally clear for Sunday night, at least on weather.com. If you're game, that sounds fun to me. And- even tohugh it's not very bbq-ish- i want to go by the new Franny's cheese store and see how they roll, charcuterie-wise.

i'd be glad to host, rain or shine, but it's seriously less fun if it's all wet back there, and i see rain in the forecast for sunday on weather.com. copied here from the 10 day:Sun

I'm in for whichever. Heard some grumbling from Peter about Larder, which he said was overpriced and underwhelming. And this is a guy who spends a LOT of time at Murray's every week. Still, I want to check it out too. Might write something about it.

Is it just us gals? I think the guys are going to the country, don't know about a return time...

I think it's just the three ladies...

OK, well weather permitting, let's plan on my house.

Hello from the country! We just occasioned a tearful reunion between a blind kitty who had lost her way, and her family. Romeo was about to rip it to shreds! Much like he did the (already dead) dear whose giant paw he proudly brought out of the woods to share with us up on the deck.

Sadly, tho I will return on time, i must go to Amanda's dance show sun nite. The good news this means i'll prob have petey home ontime to join you gals.

Miss SND and really hope to resume next week! xo

everyone: thrilled we'll prob have Petey, sad we'll miss nathan, need to hear the story about the cat. I'm already totally choked up.

On the food front, the place we were thinking about, Fernando's Focaccerio, is sadly closed on Sundays. So the ladies will have to discuss another option and we'll keep peter posted via text?

Sound good?xxxx
