A somber proposal
I sort of hate to say it, but it sounds as if SND may be falling apart this month and next. I'm generally here, except this coming Sun., but it seems as if the rest of you aren't so much. Wondering if we should take some sort of hiatus? Just throwing it out there. Lemme know your thoughts.

OK, three comments:
A) I'm not sure what the reason would be to put SND on hiatus--either we make it or we don't, but how sad it would be to have some folks available but find that SND is not. I'm not sure what the point is of officially putting it off.
B) I must happily apologize for being overly dramatic about my absences--I didn't have full access to my travel schedule, but it turns out that, besides 16 Candles, the only Sun i must miss is Nov 1 and possibly the 15th. In those other cases I was able to make my travel plans to return ontime!
C) I had such a moment of sadness on Sun while at the FH about missing you guys and thinking what it would be like if i moved away (not happening) and had to imagine you all having cozy fall dinners in Brooklyn without me. (Almost called in but had not service.) Let that never happen!
PS--my b-day is Nov. 8 so let's do a full SND for it!
OK- I was just sensing a lack of interest, but clearly I was wrong. (Maybe I was just channeling Barbara Ehrenreich's new book on the power of negative thinking.) I'm all for continuing and I'm here except this coming Sunday.
