April 3rd locale?
In keeping with Brekke's post, this was the closest I could get to a visual for "let's go to Roberta's in Williamsburg." It'll be April! And spring! And warm! Well... two out of three anyway. Thoughts?
Actually, scratch that. I just interviewed one of the owners, for this farming story I'm doing, and he told me they're sort of in overhaul mode this weekend. And that we should wait a month or so. But maybe when we DO go we'll get extra fancy treatment since I was so charming. In the meantime... where to?
Yes we do need to get into the whole Williamsburg culinary scene this summer. But meanwhile, here are some places I thought I'd throw out:
Bocca Lupo - Cobble Hill Broken English - Boerum Hill Grand Sichuan - where on earth is fort hamilton? love the chelsea version... Luz - Ft. Greene. Did we go here? Magnolia - South Slope. I'm pretty sure we've been here..
So do some research and let me know which - if any - look good.
So annoyed--I posted and lost the post! So what I said: I'd love to try GS Bkln but am pressed for time this Sun bc of another Denver trip first thing Monday and trying to get my taxes done before, so can we table that a few weeks? Is Luz on Myrtle? I've wanted to try that, and also any of the other Peter suggestions look good. Also we'd discussed a SM "reunion" at the French Caribbean place steps from Peter.

Yes. I'm in.
ooh, I love Grand Sichuan. Ft. Hamilton is near us, though this may be further in, at Sunset Park.
GS looks like it's inn Bay Ridge actually. And worth the trip according to NY Mag, but it's definitely a driving destination.

Is Pat Kiernan the NY1 guy you all love? Piece on him in this week's NY Mag
I'm about to move the convo to email for selfish reasons-- as I'm going to have a hard time accesses SND blog today.
I vote Broken English because I've wanted to go. Bocca Lupo second. xxoo
