This is a Real World joke, in case anyone wasn't tuned in for the Seattle season... so I guess we'll need to play by ear on Sunday, eh? Or do we just cancel pre-emptively? I still maintain it's just going to devolve into a rainstorm by then, but Chris keeps telling me not to tempt fate.

Grandma Peggy, aka my mom, is here with me this weekend, so I'm out, hurricane or no. If indeed there is a major emergency, remember that I can't walk more than a block and my mom is 71 years old and not great in an emergency. HELP ME!!
Peter here - hi. Love the Irene TRW reference. Genius. We are plotting our return to the city. Normally we would go home Sat but we have tix to Stevie Nicks Sat night - still holding out hope she will perform. But looking unlikely. Anyway, let's play by ear but sounds like Sunday night will be the worst of it so we should probably skip...

Ditto Peter (and by "normally," he means that "normally when there's a hurricane aiming right for all of us that's said to be capable of ending all our lives as we know it"--in THAT case normally we'd just leave a day early if we didn't have Stevie tix. So yeah, play by ear, and probably not likely to happen tho it'd be fun if we WERE able to gather and share storm stories. Sara I totally hear you and kinda think the same, but what if this time's different?? xx
