SND: The Day the Towers Fell

Just kidding! I know it's odd to blog and say simultaneously that I'm out for SND this weekend, but that's just what I'm doing. The Giants and the Jets are playing back-to-back this Sunday afternoon/evening, and I've got a date with my TV and a football-crazy-friend like me. I can't think of a better way to ignore 9/11 retrospectives, although I'm sure there will be enough moments of silence to satisfy a monk. LOVE TO YOU ALL!

And the US Open final is scheduled for 4:30 though that could easily be rescheduled for Monday. Perhaps we could play it by ear do it a little later - like 7:30?

We'll miss you Brek! Happy Football!

I'm out this week, as Chris and Player and I are taking a little four-day vacation at a cottage in the Poconos. Now please just cross your fingers it doesn't rain the whole time. As a side note, Lara has requested to be a guest again sometime soon. Will miss you guys (again) too!

They're dropping like flies. Sad we wont be together - esp on 9/11. Nath/Claude - let's discuss. Women's match is at 4 so we'll easily be done in time for 7...

If it does get all apocalyptic in NYC, please come join us at our cottage/safe house in Dingman's Ferry, PA.

Let's bring Dom and Moose too - it is 9/11 after all and they shouldn't eat alone...

(this is Claudia)
Peter and I think either going to Brooklyn Star in W-burg (http://nymag.com/listings/restaurant/brooklyn-star/) or Bab al Yemen in Bay Ridge (http://menupages.com/restaurants/bab-al-yemen/)
which is supposed to be unbelievable.

I just want to add for posterity that Peter suggested we go to Bab al Yemen to prove that the terrrorists didn't win!
