Well kids - January has arrived and with it another year of SND. So who's in for Sunday and where should we dine? Should we invite our cigarette smoking friend to join us?
Oh and also - I'm unfortunately out for next Sunday's Golden Globes. But I would like to host a Super Bowl SND on Feb 5!

I'm in. I feel like we haven't hit 5th Ave lately. Anything there that's not too expensive that we haven't (or have) tried?
Who is our cigarette smoking friend?
I'm here. I'll think.
Sara - check out the comment from last week.
That new place on Dean, Va Beh (sounds like a phelgm ball, but probably not in Italian)?
Magnolia?: http://nymag.com/listings/restaurant/magnolia/
Anthony's?:http://anthonysbrooklyn.com/
Just trying to think of moderate and places we haven't been....
Isn't Magnolia the place we keep trying to go and can't find or it's closed for renovations or something?
Ah - Va Beh is what opened on Dean. I'd be up for that. I'll keep thinking in case we don't want Italian. And yeah Magnolia is closed - is that the place we always drive by and it's now too fancy?
And I'm just going to take the time to complain about the construction going on today right outside on bergen. It is one of the oddest and most irritating construction noises I have ever heard. We may go insane if it continues.
Also we should check out the Sunburnt Calf on Vanderbilt some time. And while the new Sadie's Kitchen looks delicious and is auspiciously named, it is very small and has no alcohol...
I'm in and up for anything. Sadie's is so damn good, but yes very small and byob. Petey, I'm so sorry about construction!! I hope it abates soon.
sunburnt calf looks fantastic (for whenev). I'm totally flexible and happy to go whenever. I'll keep thinking.
January is the 1st month of English year and brings many hopes in the start of every year. IT Exams King
