New Year, New You (Us)
Happy 2013. May this be the best one yet and also t-minus less than two months till St. Martin! Who's around this weekend? I feel like maybe all of us are, for the first time in ages.
Also for at some point in the future, I'd like to point out that my hood's Ox Cart was named Zagat's #2 best off-the-radar burgers (I have not been yet so can't vouch):
The Joint: This Brooklyn gem is a cornerstone of must-try eateries in Ditmas Park and one of the best excuses for gastropub-loving Manhattanites to make the 20-minute trek out on the Q. The warm, homey, albeit modest space is basically your 'hood's favorite corner bar after an upscale overhaul.
Also - I'm commenting up a storm- another farther-flung one to try in 2013 is Bab Al Yemen, a Bay Ridge joint that my almost-landlords recommended as equal to or better than Tanoreen.

We went to Bab Al Yemen! I guess you weren't at that one? Moose had read all about it and it was indeed amazing and cheap.
I have to work Sunday, so the less far flung the better. I hope I can make it! xoxo
