Advice
Here's a question for the SND group: both the deaf guy and the handicapped girl from my high school have friended me on facebook. Do I accept? What do I do with the guilt of having made fun of them in high school? Basically I am Liz Lemon. Thoughts?
I know Brekke and Claude are out of town this week but who is in? It's been awhile!
Both i think. I'm full of contradictions. i think i get a pass for middle school mocking cause hey - after all - i was the gay kid. (or one of many...)
Well if they friended you, they are likely oblivious to the fact that you once mocked them, so no harm. And maybe you can make karmic amends by friending them. B/c being Peter's friend is SUCH an honor. : )
Relatedly, did anyone read the story in this week's New York about the girl who's going blind and deaf? Amazing. Seriously.
Yay, my suggestion won! I think they're about the same but have a cheap burger. If anyone wants to walk with me, we can meet up at Washington and Gates at 6:45 and walk north.

So, you would friend them b/c you feel sorry for them, or not friend them because you feel guilty for making fun of them?
I'm in for Sunday.

I am in for Sunday too.
Haven't read yet - will do for sure. I love that New York Magazine!
Where shall we go this Sunday? It's not going to be freezing!
Tavern on Dean, a little pricey.
67 Burger, a little stark.
Chez Lola, a little bistro.
Vinegar Hill House, a little out of the way.
Totes in--miss you guys! I'll go anywhere (as usual). My two suggestions: Maggie Brown, and Seven by the Ft. Greene C-stop (not cheap but so lovely!)
I vote for cheap-ish. What's the story on Vinegar Hill price-wise?
On New York mag, it's got $$ and entrees are listed from $12 to $16. But I've never been there.

Maggie Brown's looks like it's about the same.
Peter, want to weigh in here?
I think we should try Maggie Brown's- we've almost gone there a few times now, haven't we?
So Maggie Browns at 7pm

Sounds great. See you guys then.
