So, Sunday? It's the Open final, which most of us will probably want to watch at some point. We could:
1) meet late pm and watch/hang/eat together at either a bar or apt
2) meet normal time and employ the DVR
3) meet on the late side (post-Open)
Who's in? And for which option?

The Open final starts at noon, so we should be fine to meet at 7 or so for SND. That said, I wouldn't mind watching the Open with others. I'm definitely in for whatever folks want to do! xx
Son of a bit.... I just stupidly agreed to go on a long bike ride on Sunday afternoon. But maybe it will rain. But then that would cancel the Open ....
So I can't say I'm in for the daytime watching, but I'm in for the normal dinner time. I'll re-suggest Beast or Habana Outpost. End of summer at Amla?????

oh- i thought the open was late pm for some reason. that's even better. i might vote Habana Outpost cause its seasonal and will not be around much longer.
Sarah Palin reminds me that women can do anything! Including run for job for which they are totally unsuited!

But it's at 5th and 19th, so... a bit farther into the Slope. In any case, I'm busy Sunday afternoon but in for dinner, wherever we want to go.
Oh and I am obsessed with all things Sarah Palin. Not getting any work done, just waiting for the next horrible revelation to come down the pike.
Correction: Open final is Sunday at 4. Should be done by 7 but could possibly later. I need to be at my house to watch and everyone is welcome. As for dinner we could go somewhere close whenever the tennis finishes - Maybe that pizza place on Vanderbilt. or I can just meet everyone when it is over.
And I still can't believe I am missing the us open night session of the century! Have fun tonight!

Sorry for false intel. For some reason I totally missed the lady's doubles final goes first on Sunday. It also looks like Saturday is going to be a rain-out, so I'm not sure what that's going to do to the schedule. Dinner will have to be flex, I think, but I'll do whatever the group wants. xx
So here's what I think: after coming together as a group early in the morning to kill Sarah Palin at Church by dousing her blood and body of Christ with highly toxic poison, those who can/want to meet at Peter's for the Open Match.
We pick a place right near by (Beast? Kombit? Habana Oupost? whatevs) and plan to meet at 7pm, with the caveat that it could change.
That seem ok? i need to think about local joints...
ok, all hell broke loose with the rain. Looks like Nadal match is on around 4pm Sun after the football, and women's is on at 9pm. So either we can all hang out at Peter's all night and order food, or some of us can watch Nadal-Murray and then we can step out for dinner before the women's if we want to watch. I vote Beast if we step out.
Sent email suggesting we do regular SND at 7 btw the tennis matches.
There's a chance I may have to bow out because of work (have a story running on Tuesday, but am determined to keep my Monday-morning babysitting gig w/Lachlan, so have to write some of it this weekend). Will see how much I can get done in the a.m.
